Take the notch as a perfect example of marketing over design.

Seems far fetched. Today, Apple makes some of the most highly reviewed and highly sold products out there. People like their products. This doesn’t change because some people are hung up about a notch.

Steve use to say you work from the customer experience backwards to the technology.

Nothing about animated poop suggests Apple did that with some of these recent Apple designs.

However, Apple Watch and Air Pods really do live up to the Steve Jobs tradition of focusing on great products, so all is not lost.
