I was going to queue at the Apple Store for the iPhone 7 Plus but am now thinking of going to John Lewis but want mine to be completely sim free (not locking to the first network). There is a lot of people who say the John Lewis ones do lock the first network and some people who say they don't so anyone got any experience?

John Lewis's iPhones don't lock anymore from what I've heard.

But based on some data that their app has inadvertently revealed tonight, they won't have any Pluses on launch day.

John Lewis is a huge department store in the U.K. and some retailers have been known to sell iPhones that lock to the network of the first SIM put into it.

Completely unlocked? So you have put one sim in then taken it out and put a sim from another network in?
