There are stock left... an there are no stores in Northen ireland
There's a few black models left, no surprise the white is not available. Tempted to cancel my Apple pre-order for the white and just wait till John Lewis get stock. The 2 year guarantee is worth it imo.

Reserved one at my local PC World. Picking it up after work.
No shortages this year thankfully.

Asked the wife to try to pick one up from the Solihull store (white 16gb) - they have stock but I can't reserve it.

I bought 2 white 16GBs from John Lewis at 8AM. both will be in store tomorrow for collection. Meanwhile my preorder with apple is still doing nothing (silly 15th November delivery date!).
I bought them over the phone and was told by the guy that they were showing 200 in stock at that time.

Yay, Wife managed to pick up the last 16gb White from the Solihull (JL) store!
Still can't understand why Apple online store didn't have White iPads when the stores and 3rd party resellers got them.

b.c they allocate a certain amount for pre-order and a certain amount for the stores. The same reason iphones sold out in 50 mins online, but the stores still get them on launch day.
They had no white iPad Minis available for pre-order on the Apple Website (uk and probably the rest of europe).
I ordered at 08:02 and got the 2 week wait.

I rang a apple reseller this morning and they didn't have black 64GB model
in stock(near me).So went on john lewis site and see one in stock the one i wanted and thought that will do nicely and it coming tomorrow with a bit luck.I would of got one of apple store but i couldn't bothered to travel two hours to a apple store just to pick up iPad mini.I think a lot people have bought offline this year and haven't been bothered to stand in line and wait for one and maybe possible not been able to get one of the day because they could of sold out.I really like the 2 years warranty too because you have a good piece of mind just in case it breaks down or something of them lines and makes life a lot easier.
