Here's my dilemma: My phone experienced a spill of Johnny Walker. I quickly wiped off all the booze and the iphone seemed to work fine. Later that night, I started to notice the first row of icons/applications did not register on the touch screen. Everything worked fine but the upper section of the touch screen. To make matters worse, the applications that I use on the first row of icons are settings/Mail/Maps/Camera. So basically I have an iphone with no wifi/mail/maps. Fkn awesome! To make matters worse, when I enter a new contact, it will not allow me to "save" hence the save button on the top right. So now I have an iphone that does nothing but plays music and takes calls. lol... I'm guessing liquid damage effected the upper section of the touch screen. Now I'm not sure if I should toss the phone and get a another or there's still some hope. I read some of the previous forums but personally I don't believe throwing the iphone in a bag of rice and praying with fix the issue although willing to try anything. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
