iOS join two threads?

Hello,
I have an object which does two background operations that fetch some data from the net. Once both of the operations are done, I need to compare the results of the fetched data.

The question is how can I start two background processing and wait that both of them finish? In Java, it would be the equivalent of Thread.join().

You might consider replacing the threads with a concurrent dispatch queue:

I learned a nuance of of dispatch queues from your post. I did not know about dispatch groups. Thanks for sharing (up-voted).
