Ah the old "executive producer" line. No actual involvement in creating the content itself.

Sounds about right for Ive post-Jobs.

This book is literally sitting on my desk as I type. I randomly pulled it from the book shelf to read to my 8 yo daughter over the weekend. I had never read it until then. It’s a beautiful book and unique in that it’s not linear - more a page or two of moments, scenes. You can literally open to any page and there you’ll find a pretty moving passage. Interested to see how this works as an animated film.

Good seeing Ive doing something fun, light. Must be so different than the insane pressure to innovate on a yearly cycle. Good for him.

I think the film is less about a bunch of animals and a boy, but rather a reflective look on Ive’s time with Apple and his enduring legacy that started all with his friendship with Jobs.

Jobs is clearly the evil farmer who whips the animals lovingly to bring out their best qualities, and Ive had found a loving home in the story as a passive observer, where he is in a safe place and free to comment on his horrifying time under the maniacal farmer’s rule over the farmhouse.

Not even to mention the unfortunate ending of the goose at Christmas, certainly referencing Forstall’s grisly firing.

Or the departure of many execs at Apple over the years, as Ive observes the affable family dog running away, poor Bessy going to the bigger farm in the sky, or the darling pet pig of the farmer’s daughter: oh it’s too hurtful to mention here.

All and all, a solid read now a solid movie with the very best and most renowned designer in the world of tech at the helm: this film is sure to delight your family for many, many weeks to come.

Hoping for a circular barn.

People should stop criticizing without any knowledge. Mr. Ive is one of the most recognized industrial designers of ALL TIME. Any designer would dream to have just one of the designs which Jony is accredited for in their portfolio. Btw the proportions of the horse are perfect, Something that apple products lack nowadays, like the Ultra, which is too big for a regular wrist, besides the obvious, the design is plain tasteless.
First, the proportions of the horse are not perfect for any breed originating on this planet (I've raised horses for a long time).

Second:

I can't speak for everyone, but I wouldn't be offended if you called it the Christmas or Holiday season instead of 'festive period'. I'm definitely not religious but I find that by trying to be inoffensive and non confrontational you end up being more of both. If someone is going to be offended then they will figure out really quickly that you just changed what you called it.
