An Aston is so much more than a Merc. It's not about specs. It's about the feel a car will give you.

Never driven an Aston, but every merc i have driven (CLK, SL) has walkways felt that it was meant to be a boat but they put wheels on as an afterthought.

Lovely if you just want to float home on a freeway, but less than engaging if you are in a hurry and you're late for your tea...

Ha!

Looks more to me, as if the car was illegally parked by a fire hydrant, and a copper was waiting to see who the driver is 😀😱
Why does MacRumours even care what car Jony once drove to compensate for his equipment failures in other areas?

I absolutely love Aston Martins: They are, IMO, the most beautiful cars in the world. Way out of my price range, unfortunately, but I have driven one once: My daughter got me a driving experience day for my 50th birthday and I drove a V8 Vantage and Lamborghini Gallardo. The lambo was way faster than the Aston (as you'd expect), but the Aston felt more special 🙂

The fact that some people don't seem to notice that this thread is 4 years old proves that the Aston is a timeless classic.
