Because then some (delusional) people will attribute some magical mythical design characteristic to that iPhone because 'the master' has chosen it... And sales will go up and stock will go down and profit will go up etc etc simples.... I'm just mess'in though - he prob looking into some mirror rehearsing his next apple promo video... 😀

It cost me $750 outright back in 2002. The reason for the higher than average price tag??? The blue screen. It was incredible at the time. Blue lights had just been invented.

At the risk of reviving an old thread: why should it not be surprising that he has a new one every week or month? Ford Motor execs used to get new lease cars every 6-24 months as a perk, where they'd be serviced within the plant garage at which they worked. Kept them somewhat out of touch with durability of their offerings and what it's like to deal with dealerships & live with a car for years at a time, especially when out of warranty. Sure wish Jony had to deal with cracked glass on a 2 month old $900 phone more often; that might result in fixing the iPhone's durability design flaw.
