Hi all,

Just set up some basic games on my Mini (running Tiger). I'd like to get some basic joypads plugged into this thing, and I found a few I like (at Wal-Mart of all places!). Thing is, they only list the Windows compatibility. It seems that most of the USB joypads I look at only list Windows compatiblity. I found this a bit odd.

Is this something I actually have to worry about? Do I need to hunt down special OSX joypads, or is this like mice and keyboards, where they just work, no matter what the box says?

Inquiring minds want to know.

🙂

Any pad should work. The Windows stickers you see on boxes are just to sell it to idiots who don't know any better. For example, my TV is compatible with Vista apparently.

i have the logitech dual action game pad... it was like 12.99 at best buy... it works well on both windows and osx. if you're used to the ps gamepad, it's exactly the same thing. it's cheap and it works well.
