My July challenge was to do 46 workouts. As of Friday, it somehow changed to where I need 17,998 calories for the month. This is the third time it's changed this month. It started out as needing to double my move goal 11 times.

I wonder what it will be next week.

I have two I completed. 1. 101 exercise minutes, 2. 18.4 miles and now to complete 30 exercises for the month.

One of mine finally disappeared so now I’m left with going 220 miles this month. This happened after I updated my phone to iOS 12 beta 2. Watch isn’t on beta.

Some of the challenges have discouraged my activity, but in general they mean that my wife and I are intentionally being more active. Even out of town we made sure we were closing all our rings.
For me, the 2 last month's challenge I had discourage me and lose some motivation. When a challenge wants you to close every ring everyday of the month, and you already missed the first day, how it can motivate you to surpass yourself? I think the challenge system is just unbalanced. Sometimes its too easy and sometime its just brutal and unforgiving.

Well yesterday my second challenge of 74 workouts reappear and i completed it today so I ended up getting both challenges for July. The first was to go 220.2 miles. Crazy watch!

Very nice. I'm at 76 workouts now (averaging 2:45) and 335.4 miles. (No running.) Before the end of the year, I'll have walked from Seattle to Puerto Rico. (No, I can't walk on water haha.) Hopefully by then everyone will have consistent power -- like the rest of us do.

With that said, did you get two silver achievements? Usually one gold and one silver (or platinum) is available. Would be pretty awesome if you scored 3 for July.

Both of my 7th month badges are mostly yellow with the 2018 in silver color and they are exactly alike, I’m also on track to get the 7th month perfect month one so I will have 3 this month for the first time ever.

I only got one- but I earned it already. I never knew what it was because it wasn't syncing.
It says "You earned this award by going 7.4 mi in July 2018"

Mine was even worse... "You earned this award by going 0.0 miles in July 2018."

Resqu2, are you using beta versions of iOS on your watch or iPhone? I'm just curious if that's a normal thing for you (to get 3 awards a month), or if it's just a one time only glitch sort of deal.

For me, I don't wait for notifications of new goals. I reboot the iPhone and Watch about 5 minutes after a new month starts so I can see what my two goals/awards will be that month. My only guess for how people end up with weird awards (0.0 miles, 7.4 miles) or no awards are because they are running jailbroken devices, beta versions of operating systems, don't reboot their devices, maybe won't get their new monthly goal (or the individually assigned one) due to once they miss one day of "do this every day of the month" the monthly goal/award/achievement disappears from their Achievement screen on their phone.

I used to be in the beta programs, but for me it's not worth losing my current streaks to try new operating systems a few months before they come out.

Hopefully watchOS 5 better handles notifying users of their monthly goals, but I'm not taking any chances. I'll always restart my devices 5 minutes after a new month so I don't miss reading that I need to hit the 400% goal every day of the month.

I’m on beta 12 on my iPhone X but no beta on my watch. 12 will be my last beta as it’s just messed up stuff on my watch. In the past I have saw 2 challenges but one always goes away but this time the one that disappeared just came back toward the end of the month, the 3rd one is the regular perfect month move goal one.

I had two, earned both and both showed up then one just disappears over night. I also didn’t get my 7th month perfect move streak one even though I tripled my move goal ever day while training for my next race. I’m through even looking at these badges until Apple quits letting the kids run this department.

I averaged 830, with a goal of 774, and didn’t get it. Grrr!

It stopped with my average at 765 and didn’t update after any of three workouts. The unmet badge went away overnight, and then yesterday reappeared saying 786, so I have it.
