I changed mine since the last post a few pages back. I've discovered geek tool!

Left side has the top 5 running processes, system information/CPU, uptime, network traffic, and console log. Right side has DesktopLyrics.app, and geektool showing the date/time.

I've made an image overlay with black boarders so no matter the wallpaper I use, the lyrics, date, and other info stays easily visible. It could look better I'm sure but I don't know how to do it better. I've tried at least beveling it or something in Gimp but the transparent center seems to cause me problems.

this is a pretty cool wallpaper but they filtered the content so if you dont have an account you cant see it and i dont want them to spam my email to log in. oh well looks cool non the less.

I don't have problems with desktopnexus. I made an account. The filter is usually to block images of half naked girls but sometimes they flag something for just being of a female even if she's fully clothed or something.

I do get e-mails from there, but only because people leave comments on my profile there, it's basically a community/forum type thing.

Where did you find that? It's even bigger than the one I had originally. There should be an updated thread listing the best places for wallpapers.

I saved that picture to my hd a long time ago, I honestly don't remember where I found it. It caught me by surprise to see it show up in this thread.

I'm assuming that's a rhetorical question, but yes it is :D. I'm fairly certain that my wife thinks I'm unstable. I've never been accused of being well adjusted.
