I normally do not contribute to these threads and July is over in two days but I just set this as my desktop and I love it. This is a photo I took last weekend of the Mackinaw Bridge in Michigan with my Powershot A95. I'm a complete newb to digital photography so all I really know is "point n' shoot", but I think it came out pretty well.

I may have to post it in August's thread as well once it starts.

Very cool! I haven't seen that sight in years - used to vacation at my aunt and uncles place down outside Holland.

Awesome shot, I used to vacation in the U.P. as a kid. You can find A LOT of great scenery up there, that is for sure. Point and shoot turned out wonderful ;)

Is that an actual ink drawing, that you created?
No, that is the original logo for Apple Computer, when it was still in its infancy...

ham_man's right. It's Apple's first logo (I can see why they changed, as this one looks like it's tilting, because the ribbons make an optical illusion). Found it somewhere with Google Images, and thought that would fit my current Desktop "theme" (i.e. the other Desktop images I have rotating).

I've also blown it up and cleaned it up a little since posting last night, so it looks like this now (just the desktop image):
