iPhone X jumped to iphone x

Had 8 plus for about 2 months then on a whim decided the X needed trying.
I love the size. I always thought I would stay with the plus as I like a bigger phone but due to the size of the screen on the X I get a phone with the size I like plus can still fit it in my pocket comfortably.
I was worried about face unlock due to what I hear about it but it's surprisingly good. Think people are nit picking when it comes to face Id

Glad I switched.....so far....

For most FaceID works VERY well and after a while you will almost forget what it is doing. Enjoy your new phone.

So you bought both phones? What happened to your 8 + ?

Made the same move myself. Much prefer the more compact size of the X and the gestures are a big improvement over the home button.

Face ID works great for me also.

i too recently moved from the 8plus to the X
being a plus size user since it came out i thought i would never go back to anything smaller
the portability of the X is perfect
fits in pockets so much better
with the right case it does not seem small
with the X compared to the plus....X -i am carrying around just a screen...8plus screen plus bezels and yet i have just about the same size screen with the X

Nope....I so miss the landscape option on the + models.
Definitely upgrading in the fall to the X+

Phew! I so wish more apps supported landscape mode for the plus phones. But I understand that it’s too much effort to support a very specific type of device where most users with even the plus size phones use the device in portrait orientation most of the times.

I think the most annoying thing with face id is that it doesn't work in landscape mode when you accidentally close it watching a video. Other than that it's pretty good. Enjoy the phone it's a pretty badass device!

Am I the only one who likes the landscape option on the plus models?!

Seems to be a forgotten option with the iPhone. I did use landscape mode all the time with the Plus model. ESpecially if I’m using the phone one handed after a longer period, the Plus model is large enough where it gets fatiguing after a while, and switching to two hands in landscape mode is much more comfortable with the extended keyboard as well.
