Macbook Pro 2017.
I just bought a 4K Benq "photographers monitor" - SW321C. (32inches)
Both my mouse and my Wacom pen are lagging and jumpy - using Photoshop in full-res is impossible.

I tried connecting via USB-C, and via HDMI (60Hz)
(HDMI had to be connected to USB-C via adaptor, since my Macbook doesn't have any other ports)

Video Card:
Radeon Pro 455
Intel HD Graphics 530

(this is what my system report says)

I started this thread since I haven't found any relevant answer on previous threads about this problem.

Any ideas, Guys?

Yeah that GPU can get laggy with that set up. Disable double click distance in Wacom preferences that’s buggy as hell, set it to zero.

Photoshop is very culprit here.

I am using Clip Studio Paint with Wacom Cintiq Pro 32, 600 dpi, 8000x6000 resolution with hundreds of layers, zero problem.

Photoshop is have very good engine for raster scaling or such, but for pure illustration painting, that's horrible.

Works perfectly well for most people, there are just a few Macs that throttle. Thousands of videos on YouTube and millions users worldwide can’t be having illusions. It even works super well on M1.

It's not only PhotoShop.
And not only Wacom is affected - I tried 3 mice and all the same.
I am planning to buy a new Mac next year anyway (when MacBook Pro 16" is released) - you think it may help?
