"WWDC 2008 is announced for june 9th with a keynote speech from Steve Jobs on June 10th at 10:00 AM local time." Source

We will probably hear about the new iPhone when Jobs speaks. Thus, won't the new iPhone the tenth, not the ninth? Am I missing something?

Well, that widget wasn't made by Apple. According to Apple's info, the keynote is on the 9th: http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/events/. That widget was made before the officially keynote announcement. I guess the developer assumed it would be on Tuesday and not Monday?
