Wake me when anyone who ordered a SS 42mm BSB after 10:00 am on 4/10 sees any movement. Then I'll know I'm at least close.

I've had mine on preorder for 2 weeks now. Located in Florida. Still no movement on mine.
Assuming they are switching the bands still. You can do like me. Order a different color banded watch. And swap it out for the color you want. Unless you have a specific band in mind. Like a leather, or link banded watch etc.
you ordered the model most seem to be ordering, including me, so there is definitely going to be a wait
but once Apple fixes the production issue, they may already have, orders will be flying out pretty quickly
So I wasnt really happy with my white sport and intended to return it, placed this order yesterday thinking I would get the SS one in June

I got my green sport band on the launch day and hoping I will get my SS one during the 14-day period (ordered the SS one on 4/23/15 - still saying it will ship in June). If that's not the case, I will just keep this one. I cannot go watchless till June.
Not sure what all the details were. But I think you can swap one band for another. I am not sure if they charge you for the other band, and refund it back when you return the one you don't want. But my understanding is band for band. In other words I can swap a pink sports band, for let's say white. But I can't swap a pink band for a leather band. Or different size. Has to be in the same "family" so to speak.
I believe the space grey sport watch only comes in black... So I really couldn't order another watch with a different color band and do the swap... If they are in fact doing that. I also heard they were but haven't heard anyone confirm whether or not they actually have
I agree, waited this long....what's a couple more days. I only want the SG 42,. Can't get the grey case with any other watch currently so I have choice but to wait. But at least we will have a watch that is in high demand. I guess it is cool to have something to look fwd to... Not sayin I wouldn't want it shipped now tho lol #
Maybe we can start a thread and throw it on the watch accessories forum. For those who just want to swap bands with each other. I send you one color, you send me what you have etc. Assuming both ppl were honest. And there were no issues with that. It could work, rather than dealing with Apple on bands that ppl want to swap.
One can only hope... But you know... I'm right there with people's frustrations. Apple could do a lot better with these product launches.
Just realized that SG only come with the black, so my idea of getting a blue or green and swapping for a black wouldn't work
oh well, guess I will just continue the long June wait

For sure, but at least they're not charging me till it ships, so how can I really complain?
The only color I don't want is pink obviously. So if I get that one. I will try my hardest to swap it. But if I end up with the space grey/black. I am keeping that band.
They didn't release a hold from a previous order I cancelled, so I had to call in and it took all day for their credit review team to manually authorize the transaction. Still showing pending unfortunately.
I just added it because why the hell not. White is originally what I wanted.
How did you know that they had a hold on your order? I placed my order and then changed my mind and cancelled and finally ended up ordering the exact same thing. :/

I ordered mine 2 days ago...been chatting back and forth with Apple and they assure me its ok but my order still says "We’ve received your order".....any one else have this issue? Is there any reason for concern? Apple keeps saying they've ran my card for pre-authorization and it was fine...just I dont always believe that

I was dead set on SS until the prices were shown when I decided to go for the sport. On the morning of pre order I gave in and ordered the SS. This decision was mainly based on the fact that I'm not a huge fan on gorilla glass or ion x and was happy to pay extra for the sapphire. It's also very unlikely that Apple will produce a watch 2 within the next 18 months.

Dispatched: 29 April, Delivery due today!
So ordering a silver a full two weeks after the grey and it's delivered within 3 days, glad I tried. Now I just need to decide whether to cancel the Grey or keep it there and see if anyone wants my place in the queue

Dang you got lucky with the white 42. I ordered on the 25th and I'm still processing. Then again, it doesn't look like you are in the states.
When I do finally get my SG 42mm Sport, I cant wait to show that bad-boy off! I HATE waiting but the fact everybody wants one and that they are hard to get makes it worth the wait when it's finally in my hands. I will not settle for another watch, I want the SG 42mm Sport God-darn it!!! LOL #
