God imagine how much extra time them underpaid Chinese workers are doing right now....

I like how the sport I have on order says 5 to 7 weeks and the same model is only listed as 4 to 6 weeks on the store.

So, it seems that the 42mm Sport Space Grey with Black Sport Band are the most in demand and therefore the slowest to deliver?

I spoke to Apple a few times in the past 10 days. They advised as follows:

They ship by order date, and configuration within that order date. So, if I order on 4/12 a 42mm SG with WSB, I will have a different ship time than the person who ordered the same watch on the same day with a BSB.

There is no truth to the story that Tim Cook said the watches will be in stores in June, before pre-orders are filled.

However, what I still don't understand. If the 42mm SG with BSB is the most popular configuration, then that would have been the one most ordered from the first minute, yet I am not seeing that in the delivery posts on here.

My guess based on talking to Apple is that they did not anticipate this kind of response for a particular model, so they are severely lacking in ramping up the volumes for those models in huge demand. I was given the example of the gold iPhone where Apple did not expect as big a demand for it as it ended up being.

They have known exactly how popular each model is since pre orders started on April 10th so I don't understand why they don't seem to be shifting production to make more SG BSB models. They have fufilled all preorders for some sport models but only ~25 minutes into pre orders for SG. Very frustrating.

Not quite true. The Canadian pre-orders are being delivered way before those in the U.S. They up to April 15 already.

Congrats! I hope we get to 4/30 for this mode soon :)

I know they're different models, but my 42mm white Sport went from processing to PFS to shipped today, and should be here by tomorrow afternoon. Ordered it on April 30 as well. Hope yours comes soon too.

No you cannot pick it up on saturday. so if its not out for delivery tomorrow it will be on tuesday. have a great holiday

hahaha it seems like North CA only takes 1 business day to receive it :)

I really love these generalizations people are making.

Give me the spreadsheet of all of the orders you've been able to correlate, showing which countries are getting favouritism.

No data, no argument. It's right up there with "things happen on a full moon". People believe what they want to, just to make themselves feel better.

Quit spreading BS.

from what I've seen there's plenty of SG models shipping. It's the BSB that seems to be taking for ever.
I've seen a bunch of blue & white sports bands ship with the dpace grey model.

In my completely non-professional opinion I think Apple realizes now that they need to shift production and by next week we will see some real movement.

I ordered my 42 SS BSB on 4/20, and it went from June delivery to June 15 to June 29 delivery, where it still sits processing.
I ordered a 38 SS Pale Pink Modern buckle for my wife a couple of weeks after that, and today it moved from July delivery to delivery within 2-3 weeks, so later than June 15.

A little disappointing that there is so much variance in shipping times with different configurations, when it could have all been so much more equitable by separating the ordering of watches and bands, as others have remarked.

Apparently, you are poorly informed, among other things. Check the SS 42mm BSB thread. The spreadsheets shows no less than 6 Canadian orders made AFTER April 11 have been delivered already. Go through the thread and you will find the link to the spreadsheet.

I believe you're mistaken. The SG (space gray) sport watch only ships with a BSB (black sports band). You've seen a lot of the Sport Edition in silver ship. Not the space gray anodized version. We are only around the 20 minute mark on April 10th for shipments of that version.

Yeah. That's weird. Mine is that way too. Looks like the SG BSB version is now showing 4-6 weeks for new orders instead of July. My 4/16 order shows 5-6 June 22nd to June 29. I'm going to stay positive and assume I'll get it in 4 weeks or so. Then again, I ordered six days after preorder launch and guys that ordered the same version on 4/11 are in the same delivery window. Who, but Apple, knows...

Ok, so I had a chance to look at your data. You do realize that those 8 Canadian orders you have at the end (that are all either shipped or PFS) - btw - the one user (flyingattreelv) doesn't exist on Macrumors - at least according to the search, are the ONLY Canadian orders you have in the list?

You do understand how shipments are done in batches, right? So, why wouldn't you ship these 8 orders that all were ordered between Apr 11-Apr 28 at the same time?

And, this "strangeness" leads you to believe that all Canadian pre-orders of all SKU's are getting put ahead of US orders.

Brilliant. Truly.

Ordered 4/28, received 5/21. What June availability?

It was less than 24 hours for me. I had the AWS white sports band, maybe that model just had a surge in supply? I'm as surprised as you.

My last Apple Watch dispatch: The 42mm AWS w/ white sports band I ordered on April 28 is now charging on my bedside table. When I ordered I was told I could expect the watch in June. Then June 22 to June 29. Then June 16 to June 22. I received it via one-day shipping on May 21. So far I love it!

Don't go mad with the wait. Delayed gratification is really not so bad. Take stock in the time you have to consider this great purchase. Hope you enjoy your watches when they finally arrive! Sooner than you expect ;)

Youd have the blue a week ago!

That is true! But seeing the aluminum one in store, I am glad I made this decision. I like the Space Gray much better, and I'd rather wait for the one I want. It would have been fun to play with though!

Don't post here just lurk, but I used my reddit user name (and I guess now my user name here) to fill out the google form which went into that google doc I imagine.

More Canadians over at the reddit had their SS BSB ship as well.

How long it takes to change status from Preparing for Shipment to Shipped?

Holy SMOKES this has been a true exercise in patience. I've done everything possible to stay busy. Make the time pass. New awesome games like "Mega Refresh" and "Dude, Where's My Plane?" really helped. And my house has never been more tidy. Then tonight, it happened. It all changed. I now have something beyond a distant date range...

My credit card. Has been. Charged.

No other form of updates. Yet.
But I will happily welcome my friend, a charged card notification.

Grinning.
