Anyways, not to rant for too long, here's my desktop. It doesn't change much, really!

Very nice looking desk. I join the please upload background list. Also, I don't see the problem with the poster using Windows, this is after all a desktop thread, not limited by operating system.

Oh come on. That's an immature viewpoint. Just because some other sites don't give credit, means you don't have to either? That reminds me of when I worked as a campus police officer, caught some kid stealing food from a residence kitchen, and he said, "Everyone else does it." Does that mean you're in the clear? No.

At least you put up links to the source SITES, but still not to the actual people/webpages, which is what really matters.

At this point it just seems like it's laziness on your part keeping you from doing what you know is right.

Is that the KDE desktop?

Windows? Really?

I think that would be much more appreciated on a windows based forum.

It's almost as if you're looking to be mocked. :)

I don't know about that. It's a desktops thread. And if my desktop were a Mac, the only thing you'd see differently is the Startbar being a Menubar. On my MBP, I run the exact same widgets/calendar, etc.

Here's the wallpaper if anyone's interested:

Nope. It's Windows 7.

I never insulted him.. maybe you need to read my post again.

My point was that how can he really expect anyone (other than you maybe) to appreciate it on a Mac forum. Intel Macs can run windoze yes but that is more to appease the switchers and their deep need to suckle on the windoze teet.

Who says I was looking for people to appreciate it? Maybe I was looking to push your buttons, instead?

And I have no need to "suck on the windoze teet," whatever that means. I own an iPhone and a MacBook Pro. I use a Windows PC because I want to. You use a Mac because you want to. What's the problem? Yeesh.

Interesting desktop - mind sharing your setup?

I'm a Windows 7 user myself and would love to replicate yours! :)

My new desktop.

Just ask for any questions. Nothing outstanding or too creative to see here, though.

New

Went to the Hawks rally. My favorite shot is now my background. I only took my point and shoot. I was worried about taking a DSLR into a crowd of 2 million people...

I love it, I'm using the same Finder Icon and Safari Icon :D. I like the touch with the Apple logo as well for naming of your drive. Link to the satellite icon? Also what programs are you running in your Finder bar? Thx

The satellite icon is the icon for Netnewswire. The menubar apps are, as follows,

Delibar, last.fm, Shovebox, Dropbox, Droplr, Hazel, BusySync, Evernote, Quicksilver, MobileMe Sync, and an unbacked up Time Machine.

I don't use all of them all the time; I just haven't set them up to not open at log-in. Also, I run BusySync to keep my iCal synced up with my Android phone (not a fan of Android, but ATT down here is awful). Dropbox and Evernote, though, are indispensable now that I have a smartphone. Delibar is a Delicious desktop client that I use every now and then. With Safari not being great at all for bookmark tags, that's what I use for bookmarks.
