come on, it's a great picture... plus I don't work for Apple (I just buy their c**p when I find it useful), I'm not into the "mac against pc" fanboy rhetoric, so I get to keep my freedom to put and use whatever I personally choose, regardless of the manufacturer .... or even Steve Jobs' opinion

Well you have two options, you can drag all the new icons off the program in candybar and then hit apply icons and it will change them back or in the top right there is a button that says restore icons, click that they apply and everything will be back to stock. Sometimes you may have to log out or restart afterwards.
