Great desktop but far too cluttered. I am guessing you're a former windows guy right? ;)

The way OS X is designed you can actually get more done with nothing on the desktop.

Just my 2 cents. :)

Former as in 2 years ago right? Even back then i had a fairly clean desktop.

And yeah i know, i'm not a Mac n00b, most of the time its empty, just too much going on atm, and i need a couple of those files instant. For one i'd just pulled a couple images off the net for photoshop.

And Firefox covers them anyway, so a lot of the time it seems clean.

Don't be so Prejudice next time ok? Not everyone mac user is a clean freak.

I meant no offense at all. I was simply just telling you that you're hindering yourself. Also, I am not anti-windows but rather just prefer macs.

Honestly I was just trying to help you be more efficient. Some people take me the wrong way because I and very forthright.

Been nearly a year since this talented, tormented legend died :(

SchneiderMan, I realise that your site says you don't take credit for the wallpapers you put up, but you should GIVE credit at least. Provide a link to the Interface/deviantART page, or whatever. To do anything otherwise would be wrong.

Show me a site that gives credit first. The file names do not change, so they might have credit there.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by getting "more done with nothing on the desktop." What does that have to do with workflow?

Plus, after looking at MattZini's desktop, it is FAR from cluttered. I have quite a few files on my desktop. They're there to either remind me to work on them or because they're not finished enough to file away.

I am curious as to your reasoning as to how efficiency is improved with an empty desktop.

I agree that you should provide some sort of credit to the original sources for you wallpaper gallery. As it stands, you just seem to be taking the best desktop images posted in this thread to make your thing. Not much effort in that.

I know credit is scarce on the net, but maybe you could start a trend...
