edesignuk; got the same screenshot on my PC. Gotta peep that movie - I'm hyped for it just like I was when the 1st Batman came out with Micheal whats his name (not Douglas but its stuck in my head). Nice and dark movie, not that neon color crap like Batman Returns.

Not sure. But if you look at the artists other image at http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/artists.php?id=1158 then I'd say it been raytraced or CGI'd.

I sent Apple a request to reintroduce Preview's target size, it seems like something that they just didn't realize people used, I'd ask everyone on MacRumors to do the same, maybe we can get this back in a point release.

Probably one of the silliest lawn ornaments ever - a gazing ball. I hate the damn things and wouldn't have one in my yard.

But this was at an arts festival in town and the artist had welded a bunch of steel in very interesting ways along with other sculptures without gazing balls.

This one was quite cool in the way it reflected the rusted steel and clouds in the sky.

I've been wondering about this, as well.

In Finder (click on the Desktop and then) choose the View menu -> Show View Options (cmd-J) to get view options for Desktop. There's a radiobutton for placing the labels and some checkboxes for more options like Show item info...
