Thank you for correcting me. Really. I know for a fact the tour guide said it was the Brooklyn but it feels kinda nice to know he was wrong. Regardless, it's a nice looking bridge.
 
Ah barely done with the week and I've already changed my wallpaper. BTW, anyone see Jay Leno tonight? Imogen Heap duets with a Powerbook pretty much. Heh.

Random question... How can you safely expand a small picture, i.e without losing quality?

A pretty good rule of thumb for judging most new yorkers (and almost all tour guides anywhere), is if we "sound" or "act" like we know what we're talking about, just assume we're full of crap. It'll save you lots of time. Hope you enjoyed the trip.

to be clear, I'm from New York (though I now live near Washington, DC), and the only thing I could give an informative guided tour of is my small 1 br apartment.

Well aren't you a jerk (i'd put stronger words, but i don't want to get banned) to say that. I'd like to see better, and don't be so cocky.

and btw, there not layer blends, it's not a transparent apple logo, and, "crappy flower picture" i'd like to see better from you

they're both from mandolux :)

and i got an interview at 6 flags. lol i forgot i had that up there when i took the screenshot...:p
 
I'd post my desktop image but it's 2.4mb...I'll compress it later :p

Not everyone here is a Photoshop master. One person's view of a piece of artwork can vary from another. Some people don't like a piece while others rave about it. If you don't like the piece of work it's alright to comment on it but, it's just you shouldn't be that harsh. I'm sure not everyone's every little Photoshop project is a smash hit but, we learn over time and improve our skills but, hurtful comments don't help us at all.
