I've loved Mustangs since I was a kid. I got into cars when my Dad bought a '94 Camaro Z28. I was 10 years old at the time. I immediately started buying car magazines and seen the new (at the time) '94 Mustang and was blown away. I loved my Dad's Camaro, but I always teased him about how the Mustang was a better car. (even though it was slower)
Over the years, though, I gradually strayed away from Mustangs (been buying economy cars since I got my license in 2000) and got heavily into European cars. The 5 minutes driving that Mustang changed all of that. Yes, it won't get good fuel economy and may not be as technologically advanced as the Euros, but it is THE affordable performance car. My friend got his 2000 GT in near mint condition with only 70-some k on it for only $8500. That's a steal for the performance you get. V8/RWD FTW!
