Absolutely nothing at Apple.com detailing any upcoming nVidia card this month. More nVidia fanboy created propaganda?

Why would you be checking Apple's page for nVidia products being manufactured by EVGA?

"Hey there's supposed to be a new BMW this month, why the crap isn't it on Ford.com?!"

Thank you for that, I couldn't have put it better myself! :D

You're a mean lot. With the Mac 285 there was this Nvidia-generated story weeks ago and then damn all hard info on it. Still nothing on Nvidia or EVGA web sites weeks later. I have ordered from the US and still no idea when it will really show up, and even the Quadro, which does exist, is not on UK Apple store. I have a bit of sympathy with the OP. Hopefully it will become real at WWDC.

Awesome! Thanks for those link!

I have just one question, is it possible to buy a Mac Pro in a DUTCH Apple Store and then using this Nvidea GTX285 that im buying from AMERICA, inside the Mac Pro? Will that work? Or will you get PAL and NTSC problems or something? :p

EDIT: NVM! I found one in the dutch stores ';]

If a WWDC or MacWorld etc. is around the corner, and a 3rd party wants to show a new piece of hardware, they usually use the conference to launch it for publicity reasons.

I'm sure we'll find it in the AppleStore soon...

Where did you find one in a Dutch Store?
Cheers!

I'm afraid I screamed my "HALLELUJA" too soon :(

I thought these were it, but some sites are saying this:

So now im not so sure if these cards are for the PC or Mac :(

If someone can confirm if there is a GTX285 in one of those dutch stores, than that would make me very happy :D I know it might sound lazy but I have no idea how to check which GTX285 is for the Mac and what version is for the PC.

Ah, tnx Paus.

I'll be keeping a close eye, and as I know people at resellers in Holland very well, I will let them look around for me. ;)

Most of the time a grfx card is "for Mac". If nothing is mentioned it is for 99% a PC-only card, which might be flashed if you're into that kind of thing.

I'm sure next week @ the WWDC there will be more info regarding that card for the Mac.

Apple's not selling the 285, nvidia is. It won't be on Apple.com. The usual third party stores will carry it. The 3870 was never sold through the Apple store either.

That is not it, you are looking for a part number or sku number of: 01G-P3-1080-TR
.

Ah thanks :)

I knew I was missing something.

So.. I cant buy the videocard in the dutch stores as far im aware of. This makes me want to buy it in the USA. So this question of mine earlier remains:

No issue.

Because I have not yet ordered a Mac Pro and figured they'd release it as a customizable option.

It's bare-faced.

Actually, both of you literary buffoons are incorrect:
