Just a thought.... iMac's Radeon Pro 580X & RX580 same or different?

    Sooo..... I'm curious to ask about the updated 2019 iMac spec's have a Radeon Pro 580X, I remember several years ago they were able to make a EFI Boot screen roms for the 5xxx & 6xxx cards based on the iMac graphics chipset.

    Do you think we'll be able to get the same result now that the new iMac's have a Pro 580X or is it entirely different to the RX580?

    Thats a good idea.....seems plausible.

    We need someone to dump the ROM

    All Macs after 2013 have GOP pre-boot configuration support and are UEFI.

    Mac Pro 5,1 uses UGA pre-boot configuration support and are EFI.

    No AMD GPU after HD7950/HD7970/R9-280X supports UGA.

    Only asking, what pre-boot config does the current iMac use?

    All Macs after 2013 use GOP.
