I updated to Yosemite last night. This morning it said there was an update available for Pages. I got this error message:

"This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."

I have been using the same Apple ID and never purchased anything under another name.

I am using a Macbook Pro with Yosemite 10.10

Did you purchase Pages from the Mac App Store? If not, that's probably why you're getting the message. Or, did you download the 2009 free trial of iWorks?

I did the latter and got the same message.

I took the computer to the store. They said since I haven't updated Pages in a while I would have to drag it from the applications folder and repurchase it.
