Just an FYI: 21.5" iMac does NOT support Target Display Mode

    Only the 27" iMac supports this feature. I'm seeing a lot of incorrect info thrown around the forums.

    How about correcting the posts instead? I doubt this will be a sticky.

    I figured this would be the most effective way to get it across. I'd drive myself insane if I tried to correct every incorrect post I see on these forums. There simply is not enough time in the day!

    Good luck! I personally haven't been watching that closely, but I'm not sure this thread will keep them in line.

    He's talking about using the iMac 27" as an external display for another device.

    But wasn't it clear, as Apple states it on its iMac site?

    Mini DisplayPort output port with support for DVI, VGA, and dual-link DVI (adapters sold separately). 27-inch models also support input from external DisplayPort sources (adapters sold separately).

    Do you really think, if they can't read the technical specifications about something so specific, this thread will "help" them?
