If you just bought one at the apple store it will have snow leopard. You can check it by pressing the apple in the menu bar and choosing "about this mac". When it says 10.6.something (10.6.1 or 10.6.2 or 10.6.0 etc) it's snow Leopard, when it says 10.5.something it's Leopard.
