iPod touch Just bought a new iPod Touch. When we download apps to other iPhone,it auto updates?

Odd thing:

I just bought my son an iPod touch for his birthday. Now, whenever my wife or I download something to our iPhones, it shows up on his phone as well. And vice versa. I'm sure there's a setting for this not to happen, but I can't find it.

Any help?

This is a feature of iCloud.
