I did the faucet trick, and yet it still feels sticky in one direction and not the other. Wondering if I should exchange it or wait for it to "break in". Any suggestions?

Mine felt smooth from the beginning, on both the original watch and series 2.

Not sure what to tell you on it. From my own experience, mine felt that way for the first 2-3 weeks (actually a bit stiff in both directions) and then began to loosen up. I kind of attributed the difference to it being more waterproof than my Series 0 and though it would maybe always feel a bit stiff, it didn't. Now it feels great. Very smooth in both directions.

I can't recall if my Series 0 felt the same way, but I have had it for about 18 months. My memory isn't that great hahaha

I just bought a Series 2 and it isn't sticky at all. I'd maybe swap it.

I own Multiple Apple Watches and the Digital crown is different and all of them. The dial on some of them are rather smooth when turning and others have slight friction.

However, there is a seal surrounding the crown internally. It is a possibility it could get pinched, I would just continue to monitor it and if it continues to get worse, contact Apple and they will likely replace it Being you are with in 14 days. (Or whatever retailer you purchased it from. )
