What?
A pirated movie rip - which strips out everything except the main movie - happens to be more enjoyable than the legal version, which forces you to sit through half an hour of FBI warnings and unskippable movie trailers.
Since when does buying legal do you any good? Rootkits - you've heard of them, right? Rootkits on a Mac - hah, good luck getting rid of it, short of reformatting your Mac! Some CDs of yesteryear require installing an app to access hidden songs, how's that for customer treatment?
If shutting down MU is such a good thing, why haven't we also shut down the internet itself? The little things we use and take for granted every day can be used for piracy, why aren't we banning these things? Do you even realize the terrible contradiction in your post?
MU actually turned out to be the best place to grab porn. Very fast, very little BS, does not require dedicated apps, can be used for things other than pirated content, etc.
Can the iCloud do any of that? I think not.
Tell me, just what sort of controls do you have with your data in the iCloud? Apple can shut it down tomorrow without the courtesy of a reach around. Trying to get the data off? Sorry, it's Apple, you gotta pay first to get your stuff back.
If you think none of these will ever happen to the iCloud, you are delusional.
Straws

You're grasping at them.
You're also beyond help if you inherently can't see the difference between MU and iCloud. It's like saying a car and a skateboard are the same thing because they have 4 wheels and can transport you.
