1. It is quite compact and dense. Footprint is same as MacBook Air 13 inch m2 (from which I am moving)
2. The base configuration I bought has 8gb of RAM and 512GB of hard drive space. Compared to MBA, I get more space, slightly larger and brighter display, more speakers (6 vs 4).
3. I like larger display, to be honest and speakers sound amazing.
4. Good to get modern m3 chipset and more IO ports, such as HDMI and SDcard reader.
5. MagSafe is always welcomed.
6. The MacBook Pro received translucent case (Wiwu brand), keyboard cover and display protector.

the larger storage was the primary reason I moved to this notebook, but other hardware additions are also very nice. I mostly will use this for Teams, office work, occasional video and photo editing, nothing fancy, so RAM limitations I can live with.

I'm considering the 14" (or the new 13" air which should be coming soon). Can you really tell that the 14" screen is bigger than the 13" screen? Seems like it is possibly just a line or two different - I'm thinking it is hardly noticeable. But if you are moving from a 13" to a 14" screen - can you see the difference (in size)? Thanks.

It's not just the size but the screen quality is drastically different. You are getting micro led with pro motion, the normal air screen is not bad but the pro screen is just so much better. I came from the 13 inch M1 air and it was quite noticeable, size wise if you come from the 13.6 air it might not make much of a difference.

The difference in size is not much it is only slightly larger. 15 inch would be drastically bigger
