It looks like there was a wide outage tonight, I had found some website logging close to 5k reported outages just between 8-9 PM CST. I gave up for the night, but it looks like it wasn't isolated at least. Other than that it hasn't been *too* bad; not so much buffering, but just some occasional short freezes and random channel unavailabilities that are usually not too hard to resolve. Not ideal, but I figured streaming wasn't going to be like a hardwire. Then again, not once have I ever had an issue with Netflix streaming, so there's that I guess.

I did look at YouTube TV, but there were 2-3 channels that they didn't have that I wanted.

I'll stick with Hulu for a couple months and see how it goes. Tonight definitely was the worst, to the point it was unusable, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one and hope this is not common. For the most part, the last few days have been fine and it's been worth cutting cable just to go from three remotes to one remote (thank you AppleTV 4K for working with my TV to be able to control power and volume from the ATV remote!)

I prefer a Roku over an ATV.

Yeah, Roku devices are the best! I have Roku 4661R Ultra devices, and they are wonderful! Especially like the fact that they have a USB port. Makes it easy to watch something that is not on my selections (Netflix and YouTube TV).

That doesn’t sound good. If it’s not your Internet signal, then try YouTube TV, they have a five day free trial, cancel anytime. I’ve now been using almost a month with it, and it’s outstanding in every way without issue for me.

Yeah, I have YouTube TV also (have had it for about 8 months), and it has everything I need. That choice, together with Netflix, and using Roku 4661R Ultra Streaming devices, keeps me in TV "heaven"!

So, X weeks in, this service is mediocre at best and has a lot of obvious room for improvement, I can't believe this is considered the gold standard?

It's notoriously unreliable at times. Couldn't even watch CNN *or* CNN international for a long time last night.

I was/am on the verge of complaining to get a credit because I am NOT getting what I'm paying for, IMO.

And just now, 5 minutes ago, I get an email that they are jacking the price up 22% on my next bill? $10 increase, so with tax it will now be $60? They can get ****ed at this point.
