just dented the top of my MBA 11 :(

Had my 11 inch air sitting on the carpet next to me in my chair for a second and I accidently knocked an empty corona bottle off the table and the neck of it landed on the edge of it near the camera. Now it is dented :( Not even paid off yet.

Feels bad man :(
 
Did you use a credit card to buy it? You may have some kind of accidental damage insurance.

Yes I did actually..Chase

But It was probably bound to happen sooner or later. Just a shame to ruin to sexy curves of my MBA!

Know how you feel. Dented my 2011 Mustang last week. Still paying for it. Got new bumper. It is what it is. They need an MBA body shop methinks. Sorry about your dent. :)
 
I think it's just a basic Chase Mastercard? lol doesn't say anything else on it
EDIT: I think it's a Flexible Rewards card

I think that's the same as the Freedom card now. Does it have a Visa or Mastercard logo? If it's a Visa, I think it would have the Visa Signature benefits, but check with Chase.
 
It would be pretty liberating to get over the new computer cautiousness with that first dent. I'm going to bet that your next second dent won't feel so bad. It is cool to see people not babying things and to treat them like work tools. I have to force myself to stop treating the MBA like some delicate fragile thing.

Part of the reason they do is that Apple heavily emphasizes attractive design. The typical plastic notebook is actually less susceptible to denting and other damage, but also less attractive in the first place.

Bummer dude ... be thankful the Corona was not full ... could have caused serious damage to your MBA ... and not to mention the wasted Beer. :eek:

An ice cold Corona with lime in a glass bottle on a hot day is one of life's joys.

I don't know what beer they actually drank, but I think about that scene in the movie Shawshenk Redemption when all of the prisoners are drinking ice cold beer on the roof of a building after working because of Andy, and then the prison guard says, "Drink up, ladies."
 
haha thanks for the replies guys.

Im lucky that the dent is on the front edge so you cant really notice it too much....besides..now I have a nice little lip to help me open up my laptop!
