Just downloaded first GM..have questions please

We became developers since the last Apple firmware update and after a stuck phone last night, I decided to download the GM of iOS5. Since this is new to me, I had a few questions re: the GM, jailbreak and iCloud.

1) Once the final release comes out, can I just upgrade in iTunes? Will I lose everything and have to start over?

and/or...

2) If I jailbreak tethered, when the untethered comes out, will I have to restore and re-jailbreak? I'm realizing I cant live without my jailbreak! 😱
