Everything went well and smooth, the hardest part was finding a tiny screwdriver to open the bracket.

I used a Segate 160GB from Newegg for $145.

Before removing the old drive I cloned it to an external using carbon copy cloner - took a little while, the old drive was full.

The actual swap was quick and painless.

Had to boot into the included OS X DVD, and restored the new drive using disk utility.

All in all it took about 4 hours of mostly waiting for copying to finish.
