Looking at the new owner's feedback he will probably harvest it for parts.
Or perhaps he has a shop and fixing it requires getting inside of it, something I can't do and something Apple was unwilling to do.

That would be odd but sadly as I just mailed my eBay winner his iPhone4 yesterday the timeline doesn't allow this to be the same iPhone.
