I just got the 13" MBP 2 hours ago from the UPS guy, a switch from my 1week old 2.0 Alu macbook.

My question is I'm running WinXP and the temp while surfing etc is around 45C
if I run a video and boot up itunes etc it runs at about 55-65C varied.

I was wondering if these numbers are ok? Or if they are too high, I know my 2.0 Alu mb was running at about 38-40C, I guess it's the speedbump that's doing it?

Try having a video conversation on iChat for a bit and get back to me with the heat/temps you notice 😛

100gb file transfer while watching videos on youtube had it between 60-70C constantly.... dunno if this is much good or bad but mehh

Extended video iChat will lead me to reach about 85C...not too comfy on the lap at this point..this is a new 13" MBP
