Just got 1st mac. Help!

I just got the aluminum macbook. how do you insert a cd? I put the cd in the slot and nothing happens.

Did you try pushing the CD in a little more? Please only use full sized discs as well.

sounds like a issue problem of the cd slot ... but see this

man I feel like an idiot. That worked. I didn't want to push it all the way in because I didn't know if it would come out. Thanks. This is my first mac and I don't know how to use it yet

I'm used to only sliding it in half way for it to suck it in- i didn't know that you have to push it in more until yesterday night fiddling with my moms imac.

hahaha no problem! one thing I say for you: when you know well your mac and see all the things that offer for you, you will never can see any pc anymore! believe you have a great machine in your hands and the best operating system in the world! 😉
