The difference between the MBA and the MBP really isnt that big in terms of weight. Its like ~700g or near enough?

If this is your only computer then you are much better off with your MBP. The small difference in weight isnt worth the big difference in power if you don't have another machine.

The weight may be similar, but after using my MBA that is about the height of a MP keyboard, the MBP feels like a beast with its giant lip. Not nearly as comfortable to use.

And I feel the opposite... Trying to type with the air is odd to me since I am used to that 'lip' you mention from my 2008 15" MBP. I am drawn to the Pro, despite my hatred for the 1280x800 BS...

You NEED an ssd in your mbp.

The performance difference is astonishing. You will never use a regular hard drive once you use a ssd.

I ripped out my superdrive and got a data doubler + ssd from OWC. Night and day difference...

I think I am going to do the same. Anyone have any recommendations for a couple of the top SSD's? I'd appreciate it.

Realized it was coming down to portability, ssd, form factor, so I sold my pro. Tomorrow I am buying an open boxed unused 13" 1.8 i7 256GB air for $1,300. I am very excited I hope I like it. After selling the pro I stopped by Apple, played with the 13" again & the 11". I have to say the size of the 11" made the shape look so attractive and the screen wasn't all that small either to me with my eyes. I played with the 13" and the trackpad space felt much better like on the pro, also the extra screen real estate was nice. Another addition was the extra battery life than the 11" which is a plus. So that was when I made the decision to go for the 13" this person is selling, He supplied me with the serial # to do a quick look up. Look forward to seeing how I like this.
