Just got a $49 charge from Apple on my AMEX (For AW Sport AC+)

I know, I know...it doesn't mean much, but it's something! :D

FWIW, I ordered two Apple Watches: Sport SG 42mm and Sport 38mm w/white band. Both with AC+. 04/24-05/08 delivery dates.

Hoping for the best!

ETA: $49 is the cost of AC+ for the Sport in the U.S.

I just got charged something too! Is it happening? :apple::apple::apple:
 
My AMEX card had the pending charge and it dropped off Friday night so now I am just waiting for them to do a actual charge now this week.

Understood...the initial authorization for both watches & AC+ had fallen off last week, so it's exciting to see that the AC+ charge is back!

Good times, man are these launches fun!!! :D
 
In Canada, the AppleCare+ on the Stainless Steel one is $89.00, which does not equal the amount I just got charged. I ordered mine within minutes of it going live. Hmmm.. Maybe it is AC+, or maybe, just maybe..

Does it matter if it's happening or not? Just hang on till Friday, save yourself from these false claims and/or disappointments.

I assume hearing that your apple care got charged instead of your watch is disappointing.

Far from it! It's exciting...that means we're getting one step closer. :)
 
I haven't made any purchases with Apple since the previous order and my phone just alerted me to a $30.23 charge from Apple? That amount doesn't make any sense. Calling now to determine what it is.

Just got off the phone and the charge was for a part of one of my orders (The charging cable) so while I might not have my watch Friday (Fingers Crossed) I might have a spare Charing Cable #

Senior moment?

I also got a $31.xx something charge notification. I immediately knew it was for the charger. My order status page indeed shows the charger:
Preparing for Shipment Available to ship: 7-10 business days
Delivers: Apr 23 - Apr 28 by Standard Shipping

Are people actually thinking their getting the watch friday, release day (no disrespect to anyone directly)...

isn't that just the launch day ? - I've called an spoken to apple today, an they have said because of the popularity, it won't be until about a week after ?
mine is the end of april, so the following week -

Also ... when speaking to apple sales, they said the money would be taken 3 days prior to dispatch - so with me, end of april, he said moneys will be taken around the 27th - 28th .

some people will get there watches on Friday that is when first delivery will start.
