So, does it expire?

Should Apple sell iPads in the supermarket, between the milk and the yogurt?

.... I suppose they should have delivered it hot out of the oven just for you right?

Perhaps your mother did not hug you enough while you were a child? Maybe she didn't breast feed you? Perhaps you want to take out your anger in a mall or school full of children because of this? Who knows? Whatever the reason is...there is help. Please do not take out your anger on innocent civilians because of this.

You're not even close to being funny. In light of the recent tragic events that have taken place in public locations such as movie theaters and schools, perhaps you ought to consider your choice in words. To compare someone's gadget OCD with something as serious as that is not cool AT ALL.

Reminds me of Homer Simpson when staring as Poochie "so will this episode being going out live?"

Dude, you are in Canada. The born on date iPads go to the USA.

Yeah, that's probably true.

My biggest concern with a week 37 iPad was that it would have a bunch of defects (really bad light bleed, dead pixels, bad colour tint) but my iPad is pretty much perfect! I do notice a warmer tint on the screen than other iDevices I've owned, but I think I actually like that... I guess the idea that early batch iPads are the worst isn't necessarily true.

So far, my experience on this new "3 month old" iPad is incredible, especially with this 12+ hour battery! Staring at the battery life percentage and seeing it not change for several minutes at a time still shocks me. :)

BTW, does Apple really make new devices so early? My 4th gen would have been made in the middle of September, and yet it wasn't released until early November.

4th gen iPads weren't exactly a sellout like their mini counterparts, so stock isn't an issue.
