wtg keyboard skin

and right now they have a 20% off entire purchase coupon code XD

Hey Claire thank you for this brilliant reply. Shame on you fellas for digressing. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to buy this. I would like to ask you if this gives the keys a rubbery grippy feel? Those plastic keys side a little under my smooth as a baby's behind fingers. I prefer something with a good grip. Can I ask if these are grippy? Also do they silence the keys? I'm not into the clicky clicky noise of the chicklets.

Kind regards

yeah, they're smooth when they're not on the keyboard, it's pretty grippy once you put it on the keyboard

and yeah, i definitely notice a reduced sound, but it doesn't cover eliminate the sound 100% (though the clicky noise is definitely softer)

anyway, right now they have this 20% off entire purchase >_< wish they had that when i bought it :T

Can someone recommend one of those rubber silicone mats to put on the keys to stop your hands from sliding and to silence the noise they make when the keys are pressed. I've seen the el cheapo ones on eBay and have one on my desktop full keyboard but the fit is terrible, its gone all "wavy" on me.

I know exactly what you mean. What you want is the 'ClearSkin' cover offered by KB covers. I've been using these covers for a few years now and they are MUCH nicer than the typical silicon ones you find in the Apple Store (or other online retailers). I've got these for both my MacBook Pro retina and my Apple wireless keyboard. The material is very thin and you don't even notice it's there. Here's the link:
