Just bought this after the silicone outer shell tore on my Otterbox Defender while I was taking it off to clean my 5S. So I started looking for another rugged case to replace it. I've always liked Pelican products hard cases so this really intrigued me -

Specs are here - http://www.pelican.com/mobile/product.php?Case=C01030

So far I really like it.

Positives -
Much less bulky than my Defender.
No sticky silicone outer shell.
Easily replaceable screen cover.
Lifetime warranty.
Included belt clip that also acts as a stand.

Negatives -
Available only from the AT&T store. I hate going to my local AT&T store. It's always packed and understaffed.
At $50, it's a little pricey.
Like other plastic shell cases one good drop and it will look completely chewed up.

I just purchased one today and I like it much better than Otterbox. I works with my Zagg Glass screen protector.

Well after about two weeks of use time for an update -

It's still my perfect case - rugged enough to take the abuse I expose it to but much slimmer than my old OB Defender.

While it doesn't have a sticky silicone outer skin like the Defender it does have a rubber bumper.

The jury's still out on the loose screen protector. While it is easy to clean, it is very prone to the rainbow effect, and because it's loose stuff tends to get under it. Could be easily solved with a real applied screen protector.

It survived a drop with zero damage from about three feet onto a hard tile floor.

The belt clip isn't an easy one handed operation (which is why I dropped my phone). I was trying to put the phone back into the clip with one hand when I thought I had in....I didn't and the case saved me.

The only other minor complaint I have is the cover for the earphone jack isn't very secure. If you use the headphone jack for any length of time it takes a while for the cover to resettle over the jack.

This case is still easily the best mix I've found between rugged heavy duty protection, slim size, and Pelican's excellent lifetime warranty. I can't recommend it enough.
