Just got a new MBP.. what will happen when I sync my iPhone?

First, you need to authorize your new Mac to play music from your account.
If you plug in your iPhone, it will ask you to restore it.
If you choose to sync it everything on your iPhone will be deleted. You need to backup your iTunes library and settings from another disk.
Then you can sync your iPhone like normal.

To elaborate on nate's comments some....
If you copy your entire iTunes folder and it's contents over to your new Mac, you will have no issues at all.
If you have Time Capsule and backed up all your files from an old mac then just hook up the Time Capsule and restore all you files to the new Mac. All done!

Usa a firewire cable and then launch Migration Assistant on the new Mac.
Update your new Mac with all the old Mac's files. Then re-sync your phone with the new Mac. Everything will be there so it should work out fine, even if it erases and re-syncs it'll all be the same stuff.
