Great to hear from another happy customer! :)
The MacBook sure may not be for everyone, but it's a highly capable machine when when you appreciate its capabilities.

I have gone through the route of 15" PowerBook G4 (2004), 15" MacBook Pro (2007), 13" MacBook Air (2011) and MacBook (2016), and the latter is by a quite margin the fastest and most usable of them. Simply love it!

Great to hear - Congratulations! I made a switch from a 15 inch non-retina MBP to this baby in December and it's been the best laptop I've had (Had a lot of company Thinkpads of different sizes and models and a couple of 15 inch MacBook Pro's, Black Macbook back in the days and a 27 inch iMac)

This little beast is getting more tempting every day...still an issue with the price (in Europe is 200euros more expensive that a rMBP)

Also, there have been rumors about a 13" rMB coming soon which I still don't know if are to be believed or not..

I'm receiving my 2015 baseline MacBook tomorrow; using it should be like watching paint dry according to some, but I've got this feeling it won't be that bad.
