Just got an SSD and Optibay, but how do I....

I would like to have it so that all of my downloads/saved files can be automatically routed to my second hard drive instead of my SSD so that I could just keep applications on it. How would I go about doing this?

Depends on program you are talking about. In Safari all you have top do is open Safari's Preferences and point downloads to folder you want. You just have to have the disk mounted at all times when downloading.

Just open System Preferences->Accounts, Login Items and add the drive. This will mount that external automatically when starting up.
