Just got confirmation for delivery tomorrow - Ireland

Just received email from carrier saying to expect delivery tomorrow and given tracking number.
This is the first time we've been able to pre order the iphone for the same launch day as over in the USA, usually Ireland is in the second round. Maybe they've messed up their first round pre order... I'm hoping so anyway

Ehhh, meteor is very expensive with iPhones. Vodafone is better but still it comes better to buy unlocked from Apple sim free plus Meteor's 20 or 30 euro top up offer.

Anyway, good for you, mine is scheduled between. 4 and 10 October.

Vodafone is €349 up front and €60 a month for 7gb of data? I'm paying €349 upfront and €45 a month for 6 months then €55 for 15gb of data.

Selling my iPhone 6 will cover the price of my upgrade with a bit left over so I'm happy with that. I would prefer to just buy unlocked from Apple though.

Tracking it this morning it said loaded into van and gave an estimated time of delivery but it didn't turn up. Called the courier and they said it was recalled by the carrier. Called the carrier and they apologised and said it was a mistake and to expect it Friday afternoon...

Yea I know, estimated delivery time was 12.20-2.20 and when I tracked it it said failed delivery at 12.26.

I wonder if anyone closer to the depot received it before the mistake was realised.
