You've had an iPhone 6 for 11 days and just got an Air 2 yet are saving over the summer for a 6s and Air 3?

Pointless. You should either have waited 4/5 months and just bought the 6s and Air 3 when they come in Sept/Oct or since you have bought both the 6 and Air 2, just use them for a year and wait for the 7 and Air 4 in 2016.

Congrats!

I bought my iPad Air 2 to replace my iPad with Retina display. Very well designed device, and reduces the strain when using the device while standing for long periods.

Congrats, but I just did the opposite. I just sold my iPad Air 2. The extra ram helped with browsing a bunch, but the idiotically designed speaker system really ruined the device for me. Any volume above 3 bars caused the entire device, including the screen, to vibrate. What an incredibly unpleasant user experience. I replaced it with an iPad Mini 3, which I got for the price of an iPad Mini 2. I'll use it until I see what Apple does with the Air and Mini this coming Fall. If they come out with an iPod Touch that uses the iPhone 6 plus form factor, I'll get that instead.

The screen? No it doesn't and it's not that bad ....

Glad you like them! I was a Windows/Linux/Android user back in 2008-2009 and in 2010 I jumped ship to Mac OS X and iOS. I was always wondering why Apple users were so obsessive with their products...now I know. I get a new iPhone and iPad every year. It's crazy to think i'm at the opposite end of the spectrum now. If you enjoy them and want to spend the money to have the latest and greatest more power to you!

I put mine in a case and it deadened the vibrations. Another solution is to get a bluetooth speaker - I bought the Sony SRS-X3 and it's fantastic, so much so I rarely use the iPad's speakers anymore.

It's a solidly built product and the sound quality is excellent .

I had it in a Khomo case which mildly reduced the vibrations on the back, but it did absolutely nothing to change the vibrations across the screen itself. That was one issue I had with it that ended up with me getting rid of it. The other is that it became impossible to keep the screen clear of smudges. On my Mini with retina, all it takes is a light swipe with a cleaning cloth to make it look brand new. With the Air 2, I had to wipe over and over and over, and even then it still looked smudged.

yes the anti reflection coating on the iPad Air 2 is the only thing i hate! great ... you have less reflections of the sun on the screen but instead you are left with heaps of dirty smudges u can barely even remove

Congrats! It must be an amazing difference in terms of screen and weight.

It is! I'm so excited. My iPad 2 was so slow it was becoming a paper weight. I ended up paying $440 for the iPad air 2 because I recycled the iPad 2 and got $60 for it plus I had a $25 apple gift card and I get educators discount. :D
