iPad Just got my 10.5" Pro!

Picked up a new iPad Pro today, haven't seen any others with them yet so thought I'd share some pictures.

The screen is absolutely brilliant, the only way I can describe it for people who aren't sure what 120hz will feel like is imaging playing a video game like Halo at 30fps then going to Call of Duty at 60fps.

I'm aware the math doesn't add up as 60fps isn't the same as 120hz. It's just a similar to view.

Here are a few pictures, I'll update post with my impressions over the next couple of hours. Any questions feel free to ask.

EDIT: 4GB Ram confirmed.

I have to ask--is there anything different/new about the packaging? I was at the Apple Store yesterday and the guy I was talking to said they did have their first shipment of the new iPad Pros in the back, but they weren't allowed to put them out until today. He said he was really impressed with the new box they come in, and that I would be too when I got mine.

I can't imagine them doing much differently with the box--are you seeing that to be the case?
 
Nice! I received my tracking number over the weekend, but the tracking info hasn't been updated yet. Still scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

The box is standard Apple really.

is the screen looking ok ? Any yellowish tint ? Or warmer looking display without the true tone on ?
 
Looking at the 3rd picture, compared to your hand. It looks like a Mini 3/4, rather than a 10.5 :eek:

Congrats on your purchase and quick delivery though! :D Seem to be one of the first.

The bezel ratios are definitely more like a mini or a 12.9". Funny how quickly the 9.7" started looking "old" to me once I started seeing more pictures of the 10.5". Can't wait to see mine in person on Wednesday.

I see you have/had the 9.7 Pro. How do you feel about the 10.5 for the size and weight?

After the Keynote I thought the new Pros would ship with a Lightning to USB C connector?
Didn't they say it loads twice as fast through USB C?

Any info on the screen display quality any yellow tint or warmer displays ? They have it every year !
 
First and foremost, congratulations! And thanks for sharing the news here!

Secondly, as an add-on comment to your initial impressions of 120 Hz, I too thought the same thing. I got to see firsthand what it looked like after the Keynote was over and quite frankly, I was blown away. I said then that this is going to be one of the biggest hardware feature upgrades of this year's iPad (perhaps aside from the 10.5" display) and people have to experience it to understand what I'm talking about. It will blow you away.

are they still shipping with the 12w adapter? Also is the home button still a button (clicks) or is it more like the 7?
